While our younger club members do not go through a rigorous tryout process, we will assess player skills and abilities so that players will be placed on teams with other players of similar skill level. We will do our best to schedule practices in the coming season in locations that are geographically desirable for families. While we can’t promise anything, we will make every attempt to keep our younger players with others who might attend the same school or live in nearby neighborhoods, but also have similar soccer skills, to add to the positive experience of playing soccer in the new, club-based environment.
What to expect when you move to club soccer?
Moving to a club soccer environment can be considered unfamiliar and possibly stressful for some families. Trebol Soccer Club would like to help set your expectations for this transition, and ensure it is as smooth as possible.
How many practices will my child have per week?
Most Trebol developmental teams (ages U9 and U10) generally practice twice per week with their teams, and one other time with Trebol's developmental coaching staff. At this Trebol-organized practice, all Trebol teams from a respective age group (i.e., U9 girls) practice together under the guidance of our developmental coaching staff, where they will perfect their foot skills, learn soccer tactics and play fun games together. This is part of your club fees.
How much will I have to pay for uniforms?
Trebol "kits" include a training kit and a game kit. The training kit is designed to wear to every practice and the other kit is for their games. Each kit includes Trebol jersey, shorts and socks, from the preferred soccer equipment maker, Adidas. Families should prepare for approximately $115 in uniform costs (for both kits). Other Trebol-branded items are also available for additional purchase.
