What:    The Volkswagen Junior Masters is an international tournament held every other year for U12 boys from countries all over the world.  The winning team from each participating country will go to Warsaw, Poland, all expenses paid for the 2012 VW Jr. Masters World Championship.  The 2010 winner in Madrid, Spain was Brazil. For more information about the VW Junior Masters click:

Who:  The Volkswagen Junior. Masters is sponsored by Volkswagen, Adidas and Major League Soccer. Volkswagen will have a strong presence at the regional events, National Championships and World Championships.

 

Winners:  The United States has 8 regional tournaments, which supply two (2) teams from each regional tournament for advancement to the 16-team national championship.  This 16-team national championship will be held November 19-20, 2011, in Los Angeles the same weekend as the MLS Championship.  Teams are responsible for their own travel expenses to the regional tournaments and national championship tournament. In addition, Volkswagen will supply a ticket to the MLS Championship game for each player. 

 

 

Denver Regional:  The Denver Regional Tournament will be held in Commerce City during and within the 5th Annual 2011 Trebol Soccer Club - Colorado Shootout Tournament, being held September 30 - October 2, 2011, at Dicks Sporting Goods Park.   

 

There is still space available for U12 boys teams to register for the Trebol Shootout Tournament and compete in the Volkswagen Junior Masters Tournament.  When registering for the Trebol Shootout, a team must specify that it would like to play in the Volkswagen Junior Masters portion of the tournament and specify their current level of play.  A team may do this by listing the Volkswagen Junior Masters in the "request section" or by emailing this request to [email protected].

The top two (2) teams of the Denver Regional Tournament will advance to the national championship in Los Angeles. Teams are responsible for their own travel expenses to the regional tournaments and national championship tournament.

The winner of the national championship in Los Angeles will get an expenses paid trip to Warsaw, Poland to compete in the 2012 Volkswagen Junior Masters World Championship.
